In remembrance of the 10-year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, the FBI Orlando Resident Agency hosted a memorial plaque dedication ceremony honoring the 49 individuals who lost their lives and recognizing the many others impacted by the events of June 12, 2016.
The ceremony was led by Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Herron, who reflected on the lasting impact of the tragedy and the importance of preserving the memories of those lost. Representatives from the FBI Tampa Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBITCAAA), including Board Vice President Tanya Cielo and Board Member Thomas King, attended in support of the event and assisted with the unveiling of the memorial plaque.
The plaque serves as a lasting tribute to the victims, their families, survivors, and all those whose lives were forever changed by the tragedy. It also recognizes the dedication of investigators, first responders, and law enforcement personnel who responded during one of the most devastating incidents in our nation's history.
