Help Us Honor and Assist Fallen Law Enforcement Officers and Their Families
Why Your Donation Matters The Board of Directors of the FBI Tampa Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBITCAAA) understands the immense challenges faced when a law enforcement officer makes the ultimate sacrifice while on duty. Such losses deeply affect not only the officer’s agency and loved ones but also the entire law enforcement community. To respond to these critical moments, the Board has established the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), serving the FBI Tampa Division’s extensive 18-county region. |
Our Mission
The primary mission of CIRT is to honor law enforcement officers who have fallen in the line of duty. We provide comprehensive assistance to the officer’s agency, colleagues, and families during their time of grief. Our support includes offering emotional comfort, financial aid, and practical help with funeral arrangements and essential logistics. Additionally, CIRT is prepared to assist communities facing critical incidents, ensuring that help is available whenever and wherever it is needed.
