Cracking the Case for a Cause: 11th Annual Jingle & Mingle Speakeasy Brings Holiday Joy and Year-Round Impact
A Night of Mystery, Merriment, and Mission at the Historic Tampa Firefighters Museum

On December 17th, the historic Tampa Firefighters Museum transformed into a festive 1920s-themed holiday speakeasy for the 11th Annual Jingle & Mingle, hosted by the FBI Tampa Citizens Academy Alumni Association. This immersive evening was more than just a party—it was a celebration of community, tradition, and the power of giving, all in support of Toys for Tots' upcoming "Christmas in July" initiative.

Guests were invited to step back in time—flapper dresses, fedoras, and all—as they entered through a secret speakeasy entrance using a special password. Inside, they found themselves wrapped in a one-of-a-kind holiday mystery inspired by Tampa’s bootlegging past. Throughout the night, participants uncovered clues hidden within the historic firehouse, engaged in spirited games, and connected over a shared purpose: supporting children and families in need.

A Mission in Motion

More than just a themed celebration, the event was a successful fundraiser and toy collection effort for Toys for Tots, with a very special purpose: to bring joy and comfort to children receiving care in Tampa Bay area hospitals. The funds raised and toys collected will directly support the Christmas in July program, helping ensure that hospitalized children experience the magic of the holiday season—no matter the time of year. By delivering toys during the summer months, the initiative offers a powerful reminder of hope, happiness, and community support when families need it most.
